Meet Daniel W. Paulson, InVision

Dan’s drive and passion is in assisting businesses to grow by developing their unrealized potential. His 15 years of experience in operations and marketing continue to produce extraordinary growth in sales, profitability and efficiencies for many companies. Dan is recognized for his ability to build teams, develop leaders, and create top sellers in the areas of retail, service, finance and real estate. Raised in Barneveld, Wisconsin, Dan spent the first part of his life working in the dairy industry with his family. Following high school, Dan attended the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, receiving a degree in business.

Dan’s career began in Madison, Wisconsin working with businesses such as Menards and Michael’s Frozen Custard, providing him experience in both sales and leadership development, and marketing. In 2001, Dan joined Lands’ End, continuing his work in the areas of leadership and team development. As a hobby, Dan began working with a group of business men and women, to locally promote an event that drew Corvette enthusiasts from as far away as New Zealand to Wisconsin.

Throughout his involvement in the show, Dan designed the Web site while handing the photography and print design. This experience further broadened his knowledge bringing new insights into marketing and advertising. Dan gained the support of such organizations as Miller and Pepsi to promote this event nationally.

Dan’s study of businesses and its people led him to uncover several traits that successful companies utilize to achieve continued growth. In 2005, Dan formed “InVision”, an organization designed to assist businesses in forming the traits necessary to achieve extraordinary success through its strategy, its people and its marketing.

Dan speaks nationally on the subjects of strategic planning, leadership and marketing to various professional organizations. He serves on the board of directors for the Reedsburg Blues Festival and volunteers on several chamber committees in Wisconsin and Iowa. Dan resides in Dodgeville, Wisconsin with his wife Hope and their daughter. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, camping, volleyball and spending time with his family.
